Sergio Perez
Founder & President
A journey built on work and opportunity.
Born in Cuba, Sergio arrived in the United States through the Mariel boatlift in 1980 and joined family in Lansing, Michigan. His journey would eventually bring him to South Florida—and a lifetime in facility services.
At 17, he began as a night supervisor with CSI. At 18, he became the company’s youngest account manager, leading 35 employees at Dadeland Mall. Its demanding seven-day operation became his ‘janitorial boot camp.’
From national troubleshooting to regional operations and sales leadership, Sergio learned to lead by knowing the work firsthand. In March 2011, he founded Total Facility Solutions with two employees, building a company whose workforce has reached as many as 300 across Florida.

- A $500,000 landscape installation within TFS’s first two years, including irrigation value engineering and coordination with multiple trades.
